For this example we use two segments that have been created earlier.
One segment includes all contacts that have opted in for the newsletter and the second segment includes the contacts that receive promo emails.
Of we want to verify that a contact belongs to either one of the segments or both, this is the way to go:
Selecting multiple segments in an include or exclude filter will result in an 'OR' statement. Here the contact must be in "Activated & promo mails" OR in "Newsletter optin". If you need contacts who are in both, split the filter up in two include filters, see the next example.
