Jobs can either be scheduled or executed manually.
The scheduling of a job is configured when creating the job. These jobs are picked up by the job agent and are executed according to the schedule. If multiple jobs are scheduled at the same time, they will be executed one by one.
To execute a job manually, click the 'Execute once' icon the table view:
NOTE: this option is only available for jobs/tasks that are idle. When a job is running, it is impossible to execute it manually.
The option 'Execute once' will mark the job for execution. The job agent will pick up the job at the next execution cycle. The job will never start immediately if another jog is running.
