Use of product lists and product components: Free tickets

This is an example on how to use the Product Assign and Confirm components in a journey. These components are used in combination with a Product list. A Product list stores information about "marketing products" used in the Selligent journey. It does not store all your company's products, but it stores your marketing "giveaways": tickets, gadgets, vouchers, etc. With the product assign component, you assign a record in a Product list to a contact. Then you send the contact a confirmation message to let them confirm before assigning the product to their profile indefinitely.

We will send out an email asking for the contact's opinion. If they gives their opinion, we will reward them with two tickets to a concert, but there are a limited amount of tickets. The contact has to fill in a survey. We temporary assign him the tickets, giving him an hour to complete the survey, which should be ample of time. If he does not complete the survey in time we release the tickets for someone else. So if the contact does not complete all steps in the survey, he will not receive the tickets. Usually the survey has a few steps, in this example it is represented with only one page. Our audience will be the entire audience, usually it will be a sub selection, only the loyal customers for instance.
